Privacy Policy

Cold Ritual (ABN 48 793 724 808, "we", "us") is a small South Australian business run by two people. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.coldritual.com.au and how we handle it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Enquiry and catering form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the type of enquiry, an event date if you give one, and your message.
- Story book download: your email address.
We take no payments on this website, we have no logins or customer accounts, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry or prepare a catering quote.
- To email you the story book you asked for.
- To send you the occasional note about which markets we are at and what we are brewing, but only if you asked for the story book or otherwise opted in. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and we act on it.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real people apart from automated bots. To do that, Cloudflare receives your IP address and some technical signals about your browser. It does not use this to build an advertising profile of you.
Where your information goes
Some of the services we rely on are based overseas, which means your information is disclosed outside Australia. We think you should know exactly where, so here is the full list:

How long we keep it
We keep catering and enquiry records for up to two years after our last contact with you, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe. After that we delete the record.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent your personal information.
- We never pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us at any time to show you, correct, or delete what we hold about you. Email enquiries@coldritual.com.au and we will action it promptly, and always within 30 days.
